Public Review Management Policy – Morgentaler Clinic
Background
Public reviews about the clinic are posted freely by users.
The clinic has no direct control over their publication or removal. Our role is to monitor reviews, flag non-compliant content, and respond professionally, while upholding the clinic’s values of respect, confidentiality, safety, accessibility, and inclusion.
As an employer of healthcare professionals, the clinic also ensures compliance with the codes of ethics of its members (CMQ, OIIQ). Therefore, we never confirm that a person is or has been a patient, and we never discuss individual health situations on a public platform.
Terms of Application and Limitations
Patient feedback is a valuable source of information for the clinic, helping us improve our services.
However, due to the sensitive nature of abortion, some comments may be hateful or anti-choice in nature. Such content is not considered for the purpose of improving our practices.
Response to Reviews/Comments
In the case of a review or comment (whether positive or negative), the clinic thanks the person for their feedback in a professional and empathetic manner, without ever endorsing the patient-clinic relationship.
In the case of a complaint posted on a public platform, the same principle applies. The clinic encourages individuals wishing to file a complaint to contact the clinic directly to ensure that the matter is handled confidentially and in accordance with the clinic’s professional obligations.
Anti-Choice Comments
Anti-choice comments will be systematically reported to the appropriate authority. A standardized, fact-based response may be provided to reaffirm the legal framework surrounding abortion and the clinic’s values.
